Sometimes you just sit and sit and hope for inspiration. This year I could not seem to put together a real comprehensive plan. Jake had made this fish linoleum block earlier in the year. I liked it a lot. Hmmm, what could I do with it?
I was thinking of old school typewriters when I took the line “best holiday wishes” and made it Xed out and replaced with “fishes”. The X seemed like it needed a bit more emphasis, so I did a large X stamp as well. I wanted to stick with some kind of Celtic/Irish connection, so I choose to use the pages from Man and Superman, by (George) Bernard Shaw to print on.
