saturday: jake pulled all the grapefruits off the tree, while i squeezed 9 dozen of them to make juice to freeze and also to drink.
we took in about 2 more dozen to make cake and grapefruit rind preserves. we gave away all the rest to the neighbors.
i only made the cake. we ate it with green chilies, i know it sounds weird, but it was delicious.
