friday: do i need another old camera? yes, of course. today i bought a nikon EM. it was $55 with the lens, tripod and all, thank you, james. it’s not an expensive camera, but i think it will be a fun foil to my fully manual canon AE-1 that i bought in college. i have all good intentions of starting a camera comparison club just for me. the fun thing about the nikon EM is that it is aperture priority, i won’t have to think as much. i saw annie leibovitz talking about cameras, “what camera do you use?” was a question she was often asked. she said she did not pay that much attention to all that, “if that’s what you are thinking about, you are not taking pictures.”

i just shot a roll of 24, what mystery awaits…

more research on the velvet photo album. i found two more connections to the campbell family but not exactly who is related to whom. this person, christine shealter (pictured), is proving to be the toughest to find. this is a prototype of what to expect from this series.
