tuesday: working with the ipad to get to know the brushes. i used this photo, one that i have used a few times before, to try out the turpentine brush. i am very happy with the results. i used four layers. one for the photo, one for all the background and for “mabel” she has two layers, one with rough blocking out of areas in shades of grey below one in color. you can see the texture in the close up.
