i watch way too many murder mysteries and have just completed poirot and miss marple on britbox. agatha christie was the most prolific writer selling more books than any other author of all time. it is amazing. so i guess i am not alone in my fascination for the murder mystery.
for this series of paintings done on old photos, i used acrylic paint and only painting the heads.
i looked into the NY times archives for murder stories and pulled some info from old actual murders for the titles. these images are only characters in my “play”.
