monday: randomly selected photographs with applied stamps.  funny thing, the image with queen elizabeth and a group of other people, well, believe it or not, i did not look at the captions before placing this stamp on her head, and it turns out her name is "ellie"....

sunday: spent the time painting and listening/watching pbs "and she could be next" about women of color and ethnic backgrounds running for office.  trying to become looser and more abstract with my brush.

wednesday: i used my water base oils for this set, using only cyan, yellow, magenta, black and white, and also wanted to loosen up on my brush as i got to the last two, i think i succeeded with him.

saturday: i spent a day sorting my old photos and as i observed them i realized how the older women seemed so comfortable in their age. i really admire that and so i think i will render some portraits of these women. here is the first.
