wednesday: i am going to try each of these crafts today. except for the bubble wrap printing (i’ve done that before) from craft contemporary.

project one: (above) bashing flower petals. i used roses and geraniums from my garden. no. i don’t like any of them.

project two: shaving cream swirls. yes. this was fun and came out kinda pretty. i used some water color paper, some old post cards and some index cards. now what am i going to do with them?

project three: yarn drawing. ok. the most time consuming of the lot and very sticky. it was hard to get the yarn to flow into the way i wanted it to go and i got glue on my fingers which then got on the yarn and if i pulled away too fast the yarn pulled off. i think i like the fact that i made a free form design. messy.

i got toner for my printer in one day from staples. you can’t get toilet paper, but you can get toner fast. that allowed me to finish printing those president collages. here they are.

copy cat: i found this artist on pinterest (i know, i know) and was so taken by the quirkiness of it, i wanted to make one myself.

mine

late last night while watching ken burns “the gene” i made a mask for jake and myself. don’t think this is crazy, but i lined it with a feminine hygiene pad. they are clean, sterile, and you can throw the “lining” out when you get home.
