i have been working with the era task force az on some campaigns to promote interest in the equal rights amendment. i designed a post card, flyer, valentine, and more. it is frustrating at times to keep up the fight for equality for all. next year will mark 100 years since we have been asking for equality for women.
i also worked on an ad for central phoenix inez casiano now for publication in a freedom fund naacp booklet.
i am also working with my friend mary petrich on a makeover for the phoenix jazz girls rising, still not published. mary and her co-instructor, claudia bloom, work with girls and young women to teach the basics of jazz, improvisation, and how to express their individuality through music. what a great cause.
