making another set of weird holiday greetings. this year i found a book in the library’s “free” bin called the story of mankind. it had wonderful hand-drawn maps and the history of the human world, starting about 6000 years ago with the first written record.
During the hours of the day, this primitive human being prowled about looking for things to eat.
as the book continues, the basic theme is searching for places to be safe, running from others searching for the same, finding something to believe in, then fighting others who do not believe in the same thing.
